Shahi litchi is good varieties of litchi, are grown mainly in Muzaffarpur district and adjoining areas of, Vaishali, Begusarai, Samastipur districts.
Muzaffarpur produces Shahi, China and other varieties litchi, but Shahi litchi of Muzaffarpur is very popular. It is always in high demand in other states of India as well as abroad. In Muzaffarpur (Bihar) it is called Shahi Litchi due to its unique aroma or fragrance.
Fruit weight ranges from 20-15 gm. Muzaffarpur Shahi litchi gets matured in the last week of may. One tree of litchi produces approx 100 kg of fruits. (min-100 kg, max 150 kg).

FIG leader maintain the decorum of FIG and help to my team for meeting and mobilization. Successfully we registered about a 400 Farmer in 1st year and in second year about of 300 farmer as a shareholder of FPO.
